This project is funded by the European Commission (ECHO) and is being implemented in Prey Veng and Kratie provinces. The project is helping poor households badly affected by the floods through alleviating acute food shortages, restoring livelihoods, and increasing resilience to natural disasters and outbreaks of disease.

Padek’s Executive Director explained Padek’s work in improving livelihoods and the quality of life for vulnerable communities in Prey Veng, including our activities in emergency response and disaster risk reduction. Princess Marie met with beneficiaries in Kroch village in An Song commune, where she handed out unconditional cash transfers and visited families in their homes.
